☘️玩電玩、學自律☘️
⭐️一位當眼科醫生的學生來信說，他發現門診中，國小一年級學生近視的比例愈來愈高，他很憂心，問該怎麼辦？
⭐️電玩的確很吸引人，若是強迫不准玩，孩子一定會反彈。反彈無效時，他會騙你說，他去圖書館查資料．去同學家做功課，其實偷偷上網咖去玩。
⭐️親子諜對諜的結果，通常是兩敗俱傷，因為「道高一尺魔高一丈，道高一丈，魔在頭上」。同時，壞事做久了會成習慣，第一次騙父母時，心會不安，頭會低下，會覺得慚愧。
騙久了，習慣成自然，就可以臉不紅、氣不喘的眼睛直看著父母說謊了。所以寧可他在家裡玩，不可去網咖玩。
☘️與其禁止玩電玩，不如教會孩子紀律
要解決這個問題，唯一的方式是教會他紀律。有紀律，玩什麼都不是問題；沒有紀律，父母整天盯哨都沒有用。
⭐️管教孩子，溝通比強迫有效。歷代黃河犯濫時都是修堤，因為修堤比疏濬容易。結果黃河的河堤比開封城還高，一旦決堤，開封就整城淹在水裡，傷亡慘重。所以，疏導是唯一一勞永逸的方法，即便跟孩子溝通費時又費力，辛苦得很，但這是省不得的，父母要在孩子很崇拜你、很聽你話的時候，把紀律教好。
⭐️父母先要了解，並非所有的電玩都不好，只要不是色情暴力的，可以適度允許他玩。美國羅契斯特大學（Rochester University）的研究發現，電玩組比同年齡的非電玩組，視覺對比敏感度好50％。
⭐️為了確定這個敏感度是由打電玩而來，而不是電玩組孩子本來的對比視力就比較好，研究者把非電玩組的孩子再分為兩組，各自接受50小時的訓練，一組打的是有射擊瞄準動作的「決勝時刻」，另一組是完全沒有射擊動作的「The Sims 2」。
☘️結果，動作組的視覺對比增加了43％，另一組完全沒有增加。這表示，進步是來自電玩遊戲的訓練，而且這個進步的效果有長久性，可以維持數個月以上。我的實驗室也發現，電玩遊戲對大腦空間能力和類比能力有幫助。
⭐️孩子知道規範，就有安全感⭐️
這一類的研究很多，但基本上都是說可以玩、但要適時適量。
☘️2000年諾貝爾經濟獎的得主海克曼（James Heckman）的研究發現，決定一個11歲的孩子30歲時會不會有財務問題的因素是⭐️自制和自律⭐️；
⭐️影響一個孩子40歲時事業成功、婚姻幸福、生活滿意度高的因素也是自制和自律。
☘️父母可以替孩子挑好的遊戲，讓他在家裡玩，不要去網咖，以免交到壞朋友；週末時儘量安排跟電玩一樣吸引孩子的戶外活動，如露營、溯溪等，把孩子帶到野外活動。
⭐️紀律需要從小訓練，訓練的原則就是堅持，不能今天做這件事可以，明天卻不行。
☘️孩子只要知道規範在哪裡，他會有安全感，因為在規範中他是自由的，不會動輒得咎。安全感是孩子成長過程穩定情緒的基石，父母可以一石二鳥，孩子既玩到了，也學會了紀律。

☘️說話，歷來是重要的交流工具，會不會說話自然是件大事。
☘️但現在不少人卻當作無關緊要的小節，說話氣沖氣粗而口滿，致使許多小事釀成大事和命案，直接影響到了社會的和諧家庭的穩定。所以，當今的說話已經成為不容忽視的重大社會問題和家庭問題。
☘️好好說話的重要性，不言而喻。
會說話得天下，不會說話，招人煩。說話，是你給人的第一印象。生活中有些人，其貌不揚。但一開口，就能讓人好感倍增，對其加分；也有些人，外表出眾。但一開口，聊不過三句便覺實在添堵，形象大打折扣。
☘️好好說話真的很重要，讓別人願意聽你說話，樂於聽你說話，帶給別人舒適感和愉悅感，利人利己，何樂而不為呢?
⭐️說話，要考慮對方的感受⭐️
其實對於說話，所有的方法技巧最終都可以歸結為一點：懂得考慮對方感受。
☘️最幼稚的說法就是「我就是這樣說話的，我性格就是這樣。」
☘️想怎麼說話就怎麼說話的人最無知，莫把無理當直爽，這不是耿直，是對他人的不尊重，對自己的放任自流。
☘️家庭並不是無堅不摧的，幸福的家庭需要經營，一個家庭的幸福從好好說話開始。夫妻間相處，尊重比責怪重要。懂得好好說話的家庭，往往幸福感更強。
☘️婚姻中的兩個人相伴多年以後，總會認為無需顧忌與對方說話的語氣和態度。原本的關心，到了嘴邊就變成了埋怨與指責。在一起時間久了，耐心被消磨，即使是出於好意，但說話時也沒有考慮對方的感受，只是一味的抱怨責怪，久而久之的惡性循環，家庭生活便會出現危機和裂縫。
☘️家庭是最容易被我們忽視的地方：越陌生，越禮貌客氣；越親密，越無所顧忌。因為知道對方永遠不會怪我們，我們反而將言語的刀子沖向家人。

☘Our biennial charity bazaar has successfully ended! We managed to sponsor a trip to Kuala Lumpur’s Kids Zania, fulfilling the dreams of many children from the Seremban Pediatric Hospital. Moreover, the fund-raising event for Adik Alzriannalyn’s cardiac surgery was a success!☘
