School holidays are here!
Day 1: Chemistry
Our Little Scientist kick starts today with the apple browning experiment.
Teacher, even it is brown, we still can eat the apples, right? – asked our little scientist.
Correct. We can still eat the apple, dear.
Teacher, when we cut an apple into slices, the enzymes in the apple react with the oxygen in the air – another little scientist responded.
Great job, my Little Scientist.
Salt Painting Science Experiment is fun to combine art and science. It is also a visual and hands-on way for children to learn about absorption by transforming their white glue drawings into colourful designs.

One of the best things to prepare our kids for adulthood is teaching them how to take care of a home. Chores also teach kids valuable skills they can use when they are all grown and live independently.
Honestly, it would just be easier and faster for mom or dad to vacuum on our own. Does it ourselves, right?
YES…
It really would be easier. And faster.
BUT…
If we did it ourselves, our kids wouldn’t learn. They wouldn’t realise the value of work. They wouldn’t know how to vacuum. We want better for our kids.
So, we drudge through the burden of teaching our kids to clean. And that includes teaching our kids how to vacuum. Awesome!

The best Children’s Day gift for themselves! Children were celebrating Children’s Day through online lessons by making themselves in art and craft sessions.
The session was full of joy and laughers!

This activity gives the child practice with counting the beads and handling the beads. It promotes auditory perception and visual discrimination, as well as this activity, provides the child with practice in finding specific amounts.

Art and craft activities give kids a sense of achievement and take pride in their work which builds confidence. Making art is a great, safe way to discover that it’s okay to make mistakes and that getting things ‘wrong’ can lead you to a whole new idea. Kids get to try new things and also develop their “self-regulation skills~
